How do I scan a cover letter with Jobscan?

Cover letter scanning is available with the Jobscan Premium plan. Here’s how you can use it:

Option 1: Through Power Edit

  1. Run a scan using Power Edit.

  2. In the results page, look for the Cover Letter tab located next to the Resume tab.

  3. From there, you can either:

    • Upload your own cover letter by clicking “Add Cover Letter.”

    • Or, generate one using AI directly within Jobscan.

Option 2: Through the Job Tracker

  1. Open your Job Tracker.

  2. Select the job you’d like to add a cover letter for.

  3. Click “Add Cover Letter” to upload your own, or generate one with AI.

  4. Scan and optimize your cover letter alongside your resume for that specific job.
